The Bard & Banker is one of the very few places in Victoria offering live music 7 nights a week with NO cover charge. We feature mostly local musicians from Victoria with others coming from surrounding islands and the mainland.
Sunday nights are "unplugged," drawing inspiration from the MTV Unplugged Series, where all the music was performed acoustic and interactive with the audience.
And with the baby grand piano on our stage, our entertainers have no bounds of musical repertoire. Playing from early evening to late night, there's plenty of time to pop in for a meal and some live musical entertainment or simply grab a night cap and catch up.

For more than 5 years The Broken Strings have been performing classic hits and little known gems at Darcys Pub in Victoria every Week. In addition to their gig at Darcys every Monday night, The Broken Strings have played dozens of private parties, weddings, and corporate gigs over the past five years and are very professional and easy to work with. Playing everything from Beck to the Beatles with a little Beastie Boys to boot, The Broken Strings aim to please and most importantly HELP YOU PARTY!! Comprised of local Victoria musicians from many molds, The Broken Strings bring a vast array of influences and musical talent. Whether you're in the mood for rich guitar driven classic rock or sparse, easy grooving reggae - you're guaranteed to hear familiar songs that will make you groove with The Broken Strings.
